Addressing Rural and Remote Homelessness Caused by Wildfires - Alberta Human Services
In summer 2016, ARDN received $250,000 from the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Human Services in order to implement projects designed to prevent and reduce homelessness, specifically in rural areas in northeast Alberta that were devastated by the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfires. We have three projects in Cold Lake, Anzac, and Lac La Biche, which will wrap up in 2017.
