Points of Light: The State of the Alberta Nonprofit Sector
This report is the culmination of an effort by the Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations (CCVO) to provide Albertans with useful and timely information about the thousands of nonprofit organizations that operate in the province.
Rural Alberta Education and Training Needs Assessment Survey Results

Alberta Rural Development Network (ARDN) recently conducted two education and training needs assessment surveys. One was for people residing in East Central Alberta, and the other for people residing outside East Central Alberta. ARDN would like to thank everyone who filled out the survey. The reports are available below:
Alberta Council of Technologies

Alberta Council of Technologies Society (ABCtech) provides a point of contact and communication for Alberta’s technology leaders and entrepreneurs. Developing alliances for emerging technology industries.This site is more than a gateway to Alberta’s technology industry associations; it is also a link to the tools and information Alberta businesses need to commercialize their technologies and fund their growth. ABC Tech also hosts many events.

Warner Hockey School - Funded By Rural Alberta Development Fund
The Warner Hockey School was chosen to highlight through video because it reveals how a town in danger of vanishing pulled itself up by its bootstraps and created one of the most recognized hockey academies in North America. The Warner video is the first case study in a series called "Small Town, Big Sky." The case studies are designed to tell the motivational stories of innovative rural communities and the people who call them home.
