Alberta Blue Cross Healthy Communities Grant Program will begin accepting applications on June 1, 2014, for projects that support active living. Four grants of $50,000 each are awarded annually to Edmonton, Calgary, a secondary city, and one rural community. The 2013 rural community grant recipient was the Town of Blackfalds, for outdoor fitness equipment.  Click here for the details:
